Sole Sisters Weekly Walk Location

IMPORTANT! Please be sure to check here on Wednesday mornings for a cancellation, or a change in location, if the weather seems uncertain.

NEW!

1.We would like each person to keep their name and emergency contact in a pocket and if possible wear a name tag. This can be as simple as a piece of masking tape with your name on it. With so many new people, this will help the leaders identify you if you were injured or unwell.

2. Fast walkers MUST stay in contact with the front leader. If you happen to get ahead, stop and wait, or turn back to the leader.

3. It is important that you do not leave from a walk until you have checked in with the leader, so no one is left behind.

October 17th, 2018 / Top Bridge Park

Thank you for reading the NEW information in the box above!

Join the group for this lovely walk through the fall coloured trees along the Englishman River. This walk will take approximately 60-75 minutes. The trail will have some stairs, hills, roots and rocks. Please meet by 9:45am. The walk will leave at 10:00am.

Directions: The group will be meeting on the Kaye Road/ Chattell Road side of the park, but there are two options to get there. You can park in the parking lot off of Chattell Road. Kaye Road is located by the truck scales, off Highway 19A and from Kaye Road, rather than taking the round about to Nanaimo, go straight and you turn right to follow Kaye Road/ Chattell Road all the way to Top Bridge Mountain Bike Park. (Or you can park in the parking lot at the end of Allsbrook Road, or on the road, and walk down the hill and over the silver bridge to meet the group.) Please see the Google map to the right.
